Sky Lantern: Fountain
The Sky Lantern series explores fleeting illumination and celebratory motion through layered abstraction and weightless gesture. In Sparkler, glints of rose gold, clay, and soft teal scatter across a chalky white sky—an impression of ascending light, bursting into joyful fragments. Fountain complements it with more vertical rhythm, cascading forms and elongated strokes suggesting the ephemeral drift of rising lanterns and their descent into memory. Together, the set conjures the spirit of festivals—where fire meets air, and color momentarily defies gravity. A meditation on release, ascent, and the quiet wonder of light against the night.
